Gladstone Primary School was built in 1906. It is an impressive red brick Edwardian building overlooking Gladstone Road with magnificent views over Barry Docks and the Bristol Channel.

There are approximately 450 children on roll at Gladstone. The school consists of two main buildings, originally the Junior and Infants’ Schools. Nursery - Year 2 children are housed in the building at the front of the playground, with immediate access to the outside area, while Years 3 - 6 are situated on the ground and first floor of the main building.

At Gladstone we are fortunate to have lots of green space. This area is used to enhance our Curriculum.
